Jen Matic is a creative director who has spent the breadth of her career focused in art direction and design. She is also a photographer, writer and by nature, an observer, consistently inspired by the evocative power of images and their relevance in both popular culture and the world at large.

She began her career at Nike in Portland, Oregon, where she launched the Tiger Woods brand. Jen then relocated to New York City, where she developed creative for Tommy Hilfiger, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Elektra Records, Ann Taylor, Target, Iridesse and Von Dutch. After 15 years calling NYC home, she joined Toth Brand Imaging in Boston to work on brands including Naturalizer, Johnston & Murphy and Airstream. A twist of fate led her to return to her native California, where Jen spent a decade directing brand concept, photography and social creative at Banana Republic.

As a creative director, Jen focuses on the creation and evolution of brands. Her industry experience as a consultant, agency creative and in-house director provides a multifaceted understanding of the business. Coupled with her natural curiosity and consumer insight, she understands what can transform a company into a truly unique brand. Jen creates a seamless experience rooted in creative direction & image design with a focus on social media, advertising and cross-channel marketing.

She received her BFA in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design, also studying photography in Paris and art history in Rome. Jen spends her time between San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam, and a handful of other locations, both practical and exploratory.

In August 2020, Jen joined Under Armour’s Global Creative Team as Sr Creative Director, Global Omni-Channel.
